We really enjoy'd MiMi's night - apart from the soup (sorry but just cannot do tinned toms, harks back to school and a rabid dinner lady who would rap you on the head if you left anything - i was 14 yrs old before i ate tomatoes because of that woman) I will buy the book just for the Cinnamon Chicken recipe - still thinking about it now! yum xx

As for the Burmese cookbook I'm writing - yes, it's a collection of authentic recipes combined with anecdotes provisionally titled "Burmese Kitchen".

The dishes we served on Burmese night will definitely be included!

I'm with Mat on the century egg - oh and the pud was not my type of dish but the rest was superb. Overall a perfect tasting menu to get a feel of Burmese food - I'm sold!
